Scamorzino

Scamorzino is a semi-hard spun paste cheese, whose name derives from the verb “scamorzare” that means removing a small portion from the top, whose shape looks like to that of a beheaded cheese.

It is characterised by a white and compact paste, a mild and lightly savoury flavour. It has a pear shape with a small narrowing in the upper part useful to form its “head”.

Perfect to be eaten alone or grilled.

TYPE OF PRODUCT
Fresh semi-hard spun paste cheese obtained by acid-enzymatic coagulation by addiction of natural whey in cow’s milk. It has a particular handmade pear shape and a net weight of 150 grams.

Milk and lactose natural occur. Such substances may provoke intolerances and allergies in some sensitive and/or allergic people, as provided for in the Legislative Decree 8.02.2006 number 114 to implement the directives 2003/89/CE, 2004/77/CE and 2005/63/CE about the indication of the ingredients contained in food.

PACKAGING
The product is packaged in take-away frays, food compatible, as required by the Italian and EU law.
